"We liked our stay at Auas Lodge. The lodge is nice but quite simple. Staff was really friendly!! The room is a little bit dark but clean. Food was good but dinner could be a little more (especially the main course). Lodge needs some renovations works e.g. toilette near the pool. The nature around the lodge is beautiful and it’s a good start or end for the Namibia vacation. "

"We stayed in a Double room (Point of View) at Düsternbrook and very much enjoyed the tranquility and the incredible view at the pool and our room & deck. The staff are all kind, helpful and happy to answer all questions. Whilst driving to the lodge we already spotted heaps of animals like giraffes, warthogs, all kind of birds, baboons, Kudus, springboks etc., so driving slowly pays off. "We stayed here for our last night in Windhoek. It was a nice place to come and rest before a big flight. We were in a luxury tent, which we didn’t realize was at the far end of the property of all amenities, like the restaurant and pool. Not a huge deal because they do offer porter services to drive you to and from your tent to the reception/main area. We ended up walking which was only about an 5 minute walk, but would be difficult for someone with mobility issues. Our tent was clean, the restaurant was busy and had good food. The property is clean and quiet and felt very safe with two security gates. Overall, a nice place to stay for a night passing through Windhoek"
