Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The hotel is undergoing renovations, however, the room. Dining area and front lobby are great.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and my room was clean. However, there were problems with the electricity that had to be fixed by shutting it off overnight. This resulted in no hot water and no elevator service the next day. I thought we ought to have received a refund on one night's stay, but that didn't happen. We got a free breakfast voucher, which I used, but now I find that my credit card has been charged for that meal anyway, something I'll have to take the time to straighten out. So not a disaster, but not a completely hassle-free experience.
Right in the heart of Market Street shops and restaurants. Close walk to the river and Brandywine Park.

The room was very clean and the staff very helpful. All good. The elevators and hall rugs however were grungy.
