This would have gotten all five stars except for an experience we had with the front desk. When we got to the hotel we had a room on the third floor. We told them we had two dogs and would need a room on the first floor. They were fine with that. The next day when we came back from being out, our keys did not work. We took them to the front desk and were told that we were supposed to tell them we had 2 dogs and that there was a fee. First of all, we did tell them when we checked in. We are used to the room fee because we travel with them all the time. That is why we changed our room. Second, they said this in front of other people in the hotel lobby, and it was very embarrassing for us. Third, one of our dogs does not bark. How did they know we had 2 dogs unless someone entered our room despite there being a Do Not Disturb sign on the door? This is very concerning. Fourth, there was no apology once they realized their mistake. This is just bad business.
