Loved this gem of a b&b in a historic home! Beautiful accommodations and very welcoming. Love that I could bring my dog. The breakfast was amazing! I’d definitely stay here again when visiting historic Williamsburg! A++++

Incredible location, Great Food

Incredible location if you are visiting William & Mary, plus outstanding breakfast and snacks. Lovely rooms. Just be aware the cell coverage in the area is low (not the Inns fault) and WiFi was super slow so not ideal if you have a lot of work Zooms.

There are so many things to love about this property-it’s one that we keep coming back to over and over. First, it’s beautiful. Secondly, it’s location cannot be beat for anything Colonoal Williamsburg and W&M. Last but not least, the breakfast is insanely good-I would stay here for that reason alone!

We loved our stay. The bed was so so comfortable. One of the most comfy beds we've slept in! The b&b is adorable, walking distance to everything, and the breakfast is homemade cooked fresh and absolutely delicious! Feels more like you are spending your vacation in a nice home with all the amenities rather than a hotel/inn since they keep it so quaint and homey! We will absolutely stay again when we come back to Williamsburg!! Thank you!

It is home away from home. The house is beautiful and cozy. I love the breakfast. They have snacks and hot drinks anytime you want. I love the fact that they have a coffee and cappuccino machine available and they are so good. This place is walking distance to Merchant Square. I will choose this place again next year, God willing!

Great location and stay. Beautifully decorated inn. First day breakfast was outstanding but second day was a bit more average quality. Fruits and eggs from premises. Bed was very high 4 poster and required stairs for me to get in so a bit nervous on safety but very comfortable for sleeping. Snacks and beverages in kitchen with excellent coffee machine. Overall, we would stay at this location again.

Definitely opportunity for improvement

Parking was challenging each day of our stay waiting for other vehicles blocking the driveway to move due to an event that was being staged. Breakfast staff was excellent and breakfast each day was outstanding. No housecleaning was performed even though sign was left out to tidy our room. Air conditioning levels were inconsistent (albeit it was an extremely hot weekend). Bed was very creaky and floors noisy.

The breakfast food was wonderful. We were in The South Hampton Room and the bed was very difficult to get in and out of; they provided a step stool to help to get in the bed. They do not clean the rooms on a daily unless you ask the servant to do so during breakfast. To obtain clean towels, you must retrieve them from the storage closet. Unfortunately, there was a sewage type smell in the stairwell that would sometimes invade the rest of the house. The home sits alongside the college campus, so you will hear lots of traffic, since the windows are older.

My wife and I had to leave quite early in morning, so we thought that we would miss the "breakfast" part of our B&B stay. Not so. Josh went above and beyond, getting up early to give us a delicious, beautifully plated breakfast. Sausage and eggs, fruit bowls, coffee and tea. A great way to start our early day and a great way to end our stay.

Our stay here was fine. The location is excellent, the house is nicely decorated, and the breakfast was solid - scrambled eggs, grits, sausage and a fruit dish every morning. I had been hoping for a helpful host who could guide us with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations, but there was not a host on site. The bed was also quite soft and sagged in the middle.

Owners were awesome. Location was great. Breakfast yummy. The house is beautiful but it does need improvements. Bathrooms need updated (yes I realize it’s an old and beautiful house) It can be done. Navigating the TV was a real challenge ( make up directions and leave in rooms)
