"Typical static caravan, it’s dated but it’s not run down. It reminds me of holidaying with my grand parents. It’s on the main road so there are times where it’s noisy - but that can’t be helped and it’s seriously not often. Site owners are thoroughly lovely, vey kind, knowledgeable and friendly. More than happy to approach you and have a genuine chat, not just pass the time or fake charm. The rest of the guests reflect this too. Plenty of return guests and on a glorious weekend weather wise...

"Just simply a lovely place to stay. Staff were helpful, pleasant and sociable. Hotel was clean, rooms are small but perfectly formed and the evening meal ( not included in price) was first class. Breakfast was continental with lots of choice and no set amounts. If you’re thinking about staying here just book it, you won’t be disappointed. Would definitely use again when in area."

"Got to the property late (as pre arranged) and managed to locate the reception person after finding the emergency number. Room was clean but a little tired looking apart from a new thick carpet. Facilities generally good but no plug sockets next to the bedside tables. I am a CPAP user so had to have the power lead running from the desk area on one side of the room to the bedside table on the other side creating a trip hazard across the floor."

"parking was poor and the. all the hotel room do need a very quick. update as the hot water never got hot only luck warm and my partner had a bath before we went out for a family meal and I had to boil the kettle about 5 times so my partner could have a nice warm bath a d the beds are not good so I would never. stop at that hotel again. and I had to get some tools to get the bath plug out as it's not on a chain and after we let the bathwater go we got a knock on the door from a member of staff to say we have made the carpet in the dining room very wet and when we went to have a look yes it had mad the dinner room carpet very wet and also 2 chairs got wet as well so I say there a big problem with the plumber in the hotel and also the wardrobe was not fixed to the wall so I would never pay the money I paid. sorry but I am telling you about the place and room"

"The best thing about this property is the staff and the breakfast. Also the room was large and decorated nicely. The hotel is extremely tired. Annex rooms are small, poor quality and scalding water - stayed there in 2025. This year I was in the main building in an executive double room. Water was luke warm in a morning - every morning. Curtains hanging off and don’t close properly. Take your own hairdryer as the ones they provide are poor. The property is tired and needs the basics sorting. Doubtful I’ll return for my 2027 trip"

"What a fantastic hotel. Location was great, right in the middle of it all. Room was great with loads of room. The room Needs coat hangers and some draws for clothes as we had to live out of our bags. Up date the blinds, apart from this we would stay again. Breakfast room was great as well, just get cups that fit in the coffee machine. The staff assisted us straight away when asked. All done through WhatsApp. WiFi was brilliant"
