"Great location, friendly staff, warm cookies on arrival, breakfast included was yummy too! Only thing we had a problem with was no elevator? I know it’s on 2 floors but we were on the 2nd floor and our luggage was very heavy to have to carry up a flight of stairs. Maybe not a problem for younger folk or light travelers but it was hard for us."

"Our stay was great, overnighter on a road trip. Only thing that was a bit overboard was the number of emails, at least 5, that I received prior to our stay regarding rules and restrictions regarding parking, charges for early check-in, etc. The last one confirmed the number of people on my reservation was 2, and if they discovered another person was staying with us they would be asked to leave. Unnecessary."

"The entire staff, from the doorman, the front desk clerks, the bartender, to the cleaning personnel was above the norm. Each encounter we had with hotel staff impressed us. We were treated kindly, respectfully, and with a smile every time. We will definitely be staying at the Historic Bullock Hotel on our next trip to Deadwood, SD."

"Very clean rooms & bathrooms. Basic breakfast, but has everything you need. Has gym & small indoor pool. Very nice overall. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Deadwood trolley stop every hour. We liked that it is located just outside the crowded area, but still near the main strip. Would stay here again."
