"Our family of three had a very comfortable night's stay on this beautiful property in June. We stayed in one of the rooms that had its own bathroom inside it. Plenty of space in the bedroom and in the common spaces, like the dining area and the upstairs landings. An in-room AC unit kept the air temperature just right. Very nice host and the banana bread for breakfast was a nice touch. We'd definitely come back if ever in the area again!"

"Gorgeous water views; can have either a sunset view or sunrise view, both over water, depending on what room you stay in. We were only supposed to stay one night, but decided after being here only 10 minutes, that we’d extend our stay a second night, as it was so beautiful here! Grateful AC was in the rooms and will be back again. Only hiccup was we had to change rooms to stsy the second night, and were given the run-around all day as to when our new room would be ready…VERY frustrating, as we were tired from 2 days of travelling a very long distance. Grounds were lovely (flowers strategically planted), and tons of fun activities, including a HEATED pool! Mini-golf, paddle boards, kayaking, huge outdoor chess, inside checkers, all included in the room fee! The only thing l didnt like was having to leave my drivers license in order to borrow their mini-golf clubs. However, we will definirely be back!"

"Captain Sawyers is an historic bed and breakfast in Booth Bay Harbor. The owners are a wonderful couple who aim to please. The property has its limitations since it is very old but that is what gives it its charm. The breakfast were delicious and varied. The baked goods were creative and greatly appreciated. The stairs up to our room were very steep but expect for a home built in the 1800’s. Keith was gracious in offering to bring our heavier bags up the stairs (and back down). We loved the 2nd floor balcony complete with Adirondack chairs and a great view of the harbor. The rooms were small but the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was also small but adequate. The property is at the edge of downtown but very close to all of the activity. It is steps from the harbor, restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend Captain Sawyer’s Bed and Breakfast."
