"A very good location and a lovely property. You are in the centre of town so expect some noise. The only downside is the parking. I misunderstood the zone map and got a ticket. When I did understand the map I couldn’t find a space anywhere so use the recommended car park across the river which is reasonably priced. Visit was in May half term and the town was busy on a bank holiday weekend so probably why"

"The improvements which could be made to improve the property would be to have a shower, there is only a shower attachment on the bath and with the sloping ceiling it resulted in having to kneel down in the bath to shower, a pain for hubby. There were also a few cracks in the bathroom floor which could do with being fixed as water marks on ceiling below. No washing machine either which with a family would make it very difficult. Rugs in living room really need replacing, I’ve given it 4 stars due...

"Poor communication with Hotels.com. Messages unanswered. Had to ring to get key code as was anxious no contact had been made. Disconnected after trying to get through several times. Location was good. Nice fresh clean bedding. Needs maintenance & TLC. Neglected garden which was a shame as we sat outside a few times so could have been nicer. Lacking in basic things like salt & pepper etc. Amount of toilet paper rolls inadequate. No bath or shower mat so quite slippery. Besides this we had a nice...

"Working on business on the island for a few days, and this made a great location to work from. Thankfully the weather was good and evening cliffside walks to the Bill and down to the Sculpture park were great. The property has parking and internet but was a little slow. Hot tub out of action during my stay. Its a quite residential area. The house all nice and clean with enough amenities to cook, wash etc. Bedding and towels all clean, but i'd take your own shower gel etc. "

"This is my second time here. My first time was exceptional. Very much made us welcome. Clean tidy and felt amazing that booked to come again. This time was sadly disappointing. Stayed in exactly the same room as last time but very disappointed. The room wasn’t up to the standard i expected from previously. Needed topping up with toilet roll. No Matching towels. 3 different types this time and colours. It felt messy and very lacking. No handwash. An altogether untidy room. I think poor quality in room generally. The staff however, very helpful and very entertaining. I advised them of this and expect better next time. I was given apologies and will come back again. Next time expecting what the high standard was from my first visit."

"Staff were very helpful & accommodating. Eg. Reception staff, bar staff, waitresses etc. Parking & early check in was no problems. Food was hot & plenty of variety both breakfast & excellent restaurant menu. Excellent location & good facilities. Room was clean, well equipped & comfortable. 10/10 for everything & would be my first choice when I next visit weymouth."

"The hotel is very well located in front of the beach, the room was clean and spacious and had great a/c. The breakfast was quite good and they had some dairy free alternatives and the staff was really kind and attentive. I would definitely recommend if you’re going to Weymouth."

"Pete and Trace were very friendly and helpful. Nice selection of cereal, fruit, bread etc for breakfast, which was self service. All amenities within close reach by car. Family room was quite small for 3 adults, very warm, but adequate for 1 night."

"Very unique guesthouse, host was lovely and made you feel very welcome. Every room was different, we had a peek in room 5 which was very elegant with a beautiful bay window. Our room was room 8, top floor. A lot to look at in the room. Seemed to be history based. Breakfast was amazing. The only biggie was that the water pressure in the shower was non existent, it wasn’t worth even trying to use it. We spoke with staff who said that it was because it was top floor, which didn’t really seem plausible when the toilet and taps were all normal. I would definitely stay again but maybe a different room"

"A lovely guest house situated on a quiet road with easy access to the seafront (5 mins drive). Close to all shops and attractions whilst not being on the busy esplanade itself. Really easy check in and out, and lovely breakfast. The gentleman who ran the show was very helpful and friendly and it was easy to go in and out. Our room was really pretty, really nicely decorated and with all standard amenities (plenty of plug sockets, mirror, hair dryer, body wash, soap etc). Mugs rather than cups so if you're bringing a drink rather than having coffee just grab some paper cups. Beds were very comfortable, lots of space for storage, not much noise at all, big TV with options of netflix. I'd 100% stay there again."
