A lot of rain isn't always a bad thing in Cairns - it means our waterfalls look like this! With an added benefit of less crowds a visit during the 'big wet' has it's advantages! #waterlust

Paluma Creek National Park is an amazing park inland from Townsville with some great swimming spots like Crystal Creek
You won't just stumble upon this 50m high beauty! Pull off the Palmerston highway into an unassuming looking carpark and then follow the signs. The walking track is 2.4km return and while not too difficult is uneven and along the rainforest floor. Definitely worth a little bit of a hike though!
