"Amazing stay at this property! The property was clean, simple, and very convenient as it was merely a 5 minute walk to the nearest train station. The owner of the business personally took the time and effort to make our stay as enjoyable and accommodating. Breakfast was provided and there were plenty of restaurants and convenient stores nearby. The genuine hospitality and friendliness of the owner himself truly made this experience personable and one of kind. We definitely will recommend this...

"Very friendly staff at the counter, but they weren’t allowed to watch our bags after checking out early. Very inconvenient very late check-in time of 8pm. Watch out and be aware. However, the room was the smallest we experienced, but the price was not. Very modern very clean toilet and shower. Free water in the fridge for you."

"This was an amazing stay for my Japan trip! My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 9 days and 8 nights and it was the perfect spot to stay. I kept getting more confused as I did more research on where to stay in Tokyo and I heavily relied on these reviews to make my decision. I can confirm that all the positive reviews for this hotel are accurate. The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable and the size of the rooms are larger than other accommodations in Tokyo. The staff at the front desk are very kind and helpful. We chose the added breakfast option and really enjoyed the variety of bagels and spreads. You can also choose to just buy items at the cafe as well. The cafe is a popular spot for locals. The added bar was also a nice convenience. The staff notified us when we checked in of the days that someone would come and clean the room and change towels. Not only did they update linens but they even vacuumed the room. The hotel itself is situated on a walking/bike path and is a very short walk to a TON of restaurants and shopping. We spent a lot of nights and afternoons by the hotel simply because there were so many cool places to explore and eat within walking distance. It’s an incredible neighborhood. It’s also a short walk to the train station that will take you anywhere you need to go. Overall this is an excellent location to stay for your first time in Japan and the hotel is very comfortable and clean."

"This place is a traveler's dream. The listing is located in a peaceful town just a few stops away from the touristy Tokyo areas. Despite being small, the room has everything you need for a comfortable stay after long days of exploring. A big plus was having our own washer which is super helpful for longer stays. Highly recommend."

"My son and I were visiting the Tachikawa area for an event and stayed in Hachioji for four nights at the b Hachioji. Hachioji was a convenient 3 stops down the Chuo line and the hotel was a pleasant less than 10 minute walk from the Hachioji train station. As visitors from the US we found the area easy to navigate and the b Hachioji hotel excellent for foreign visitors. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were a good size (keep in mind most hotel rooms in Japan feel small by US standards) -- we had 2 beds and our non-smoking room had no evidence of smoking from the past. The hotel has a nice coffee and water station in the lobby that I took advantage of daily (although we never made it for the free evening pancakes from 6-8 PM). There is ample food nearby (special shoutout to the Matsunoya katsu chain around the corner), 3 major drug store chains, and all 3 major convenience store chains. I would highly recommend b Hachioji for foreign visitors."
