"Wonderful Staff, but the Hotel Needs Improvement – Sofitel London Heathrow I had a wonderful stay at the Sofitel London Heathrow, and the highlight was undoubtedly the amazing staff. A special thank you to Gursharon for making my stay so lovely. The service and hospitality were greatly appreciated and really made a difference to my overall experience. However, there were a few areas that I felt let the hotel down, particularly considering the price and the luxury reputation of the Sofitel brand. The spa was extremely overpriced. I paid £40 for just three hours, yet I wasn't permitted to return the following morning. For that price, I would have expected a little more flexibility and better value for money. It also seems unreasonable that guests cannot enjoy the spa for longer than three hours at a time, especially when staying at the hotel. The room itself was also disappointing. Despite booking a luxury room, the decor felt very outdated, there were no convenient plug sockets near the bedside, and the air conditioning and switches did not work properly. The lack of natural light and windows also made the room feel quite claustrophobic rather than relaxing and luxurious. Additionally, the tv options were limited, and I felt the food menu lacked variety, with not enough appealing choices. Overall, I had a lovely stay thanks to the fantastic staff, particularly Gursharon, who deserves recognition for their excellent service. Unfortunately, the facilities, room condition"

"My son and I had a 15 hour layover from Greece to the US and needed somewhere to lay our heads for a few hours. It was convenient from the airport and worked, but was minimal and the property seemed worn and old. I appreciated their quick response about hotel shuttle service which the hotel does not provide. They provided information about where to get the bus that would drop you off at the hotel. It was easy and inexpensive. They had items to eat before we left at 5am which was helpful as their breakfast service started later but many guests were leaving early. ."

"Room was comfortable and cosy. It was soundproof and not too hot. There was no coffee maker as advertised but a kettle. One socket didn't work unfortunately. The swimming pool is nice but smaller than we expected. Plus they had a lane closed for swimming lessons. The sauna was not very hot. Staff were warm and welcoming. Breakfast was good, great selection"
