"Really nice cottage. Decor was a bit dated but it was well equipped and a great location by the river, 10 mins walk to the front, and in really lovely location in a peaceful garden. Difficulties booking via Hotels.com and trying to speak to anyone. Be aware, no parking. It wasn't clear on the ad. We found a long stay car park about 5 minutes walk away. Would stay again"

"Had a great 6 night stay here. Check in was very easy, key safe on the wall outside. As soon as we got inside the cottage, which had a lovely warm welcoming cosy feel to it. We loved all the little extra decorations scattered around. Well stocked with plates, glasses cutlery etc.. Even some extras that we didn't expect like the smoothie blender and spice rack. Only downside was all the towels were bundled in a heap on the bathroom floor. Not sure what had happened here, whether the cleaners had...

"The hotel had free parking and close to beach . Bar closed at 10.30 so no late drinks . Room was clean, had to ask for clean towels as stayed for 3 days and although room was checked daily only basics done bin emptied cups washed. Would have been nice to have had clean towels daily and shower cleaned. Breakfast was included good choice although fry up not that fresh it felt thou bacon had been kept warm maybe would be better if we had breakfasted earlier. The fresh choices better options as cooked to order . Recommend eggs Benedict was delicious. Plenty of pastries to choose from .They catered for GF very well . Pool a wonderful bonus available to book for private use of 45 minutes had jacuzzi and sauna plus small pool . Towels for pool available from reception remember to ask as they don’t offer. Staff all wonderful same staff doing numerous shifts they work hard made stay very enjoyable will recommend as good place to stay."

"Room was impeccably clean, staff were welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and quality food. Parking was easy to find, and there was lots of room! It was nice to walk around the village, there was so much to see and shorts walks got you seeing so much!"

"Comfortable overnighter with a child and young puppy in tow. The staff were so welcoming & accommodating, the puppy treated like a VIP, the room tastefully decorated and absolutely spotless. It was a short, comfortable stay to break up a long journey. And breakfast was absolutely fantastic."

"Fun place to stay... own cottage- like room that overlooked the outdoor seating area, convenient location, great price. No AC, but evening breeze cooled things down. Bit noisy early when the pub gets deliveries, but that's quick and minor. Shower door did not close all the way so floor got wet, but that was probably unique to our cottage. Would stay here again."
