"The bedroom.was really spacious, beautiful high quality pillows and bedding. We've innthe restaurant and they were having building work done ar the time, there was dust over menus etc. Food was ok, staff had very limited knowledge of the wines available. Would overall recommend as its a convenient place to stay"

"Amazing staff and very helpful. The room was super clean and tidy, despite being in the older (so not refurned) part of the hotel. It was worth it for the super sea view! It was a shame that the pool was not in operation, but these things happen. We have stayed here several times, including during the slight freeing up of lockdown, and have many happy memeories of enjoying the beautiful garden. Breakfast was slightly lovely but not of the same standard as previously, although it was delightful to see many of the same staff doing a great job. Thank you - we will be back!"

"The room was comfortable, large, and clean. It has air conditioning which was essential for us as there was a heat wave. Large bathroom. Outlets at bedside. Nice amenities. Coffee/Tea/water/cookies in room. There is a small fridge but it wasn’t very cool. Lovely view. Friendly staff. Nice lounge and bar. The restaurant was being renewed so food options weren’t great. But future options should be wonderful as a Gordon Ramsey restaurant is in process. Hotel is central to everything and area is extremely walkable. Would stay again and recommend!"

"Lovely period hotel (the original Putin wallpaper in the stairwell is amazing) Breakfast excellent, good choice of everything on the buffet table with food being replenished regularly Bathroom needs improvement, it’s fine for an overnight stay but insufficient pegs, storage if you’re staying for longer. The same applies to the bedroom, great for one night but again if you’re staying longer the dressing table is totally taken up with coffee/tea paraphernalia and no drawer for personal bits and pieces. Bedside tables were just that - a table. However bed comfortable and an extra sheet was thoughtfully left out which was very welcome with the current heat spell"

"Nice quiet room and a really nice breakfast very clean hotel and helpful staff could not have wished for better a little expensive perhaps but that is the only thing other than that could not fault thank you"
