"I had read the reviews for this property and was prepared. It’s an old property sadly in need of an upgrade. Not good if it’s your first impression of NZ. I picked it for our last night before an early am flight so it was about convenience. Room quite dated with not so comfy bed. Clean though. Bathroom old and tired but clean. Minimal outlet points for charging devices - something needed before or after a flight! Has wooden floors and we could hear the group upstairs running along the corridor late into the night. Good parking. Has a bar and restaurant on site with a limited menu. But better than nothing after a long flight. "

"For the price, the hotel has practically zero amenities. Breakfast isn't served until 8:30 AM and there is no working coffee maker in the food area. Very limited hours for food (8:30 - 5:50 PM) so I had to buy breakfast around the corner. Overall, a clean hotel. A bed/tv is about it."

"Room was excellent with kitchen and clean bed and bathroom. Gym access was to a proper health club 5 minutes away, prefer this as it was a good fscility with sauna, swimming pool and weights and machine. Place was near Lambton Quay shops and resturants on Willis st, good stay and friendly reception staff and cleaners, would stay here again"
