"Excellent breakfast, very easy to get to the train station."

"BEWARE IF BOOKING 2+ GUESTS. I booked a multiple bed room (2adults + 2children) On check-in the form I signed showed 2a+2c, he could physically see us- yet we where given a small ONE double bed room. Back down to reception, another room - bigger but still ONE double bed. Down to reception - told the best they could do was 2 seperate rooms, different floors! 6days prior I had emailed - no reply, phoned - no one answers, emailed - no reply then contacted IHG Garner global whats app - said would get back but never did. I wanted to inform them that it was now 1a + 2c and check in would be after 10pm. So one of my kids had to sleep in the rooms. They didn't care, neither did the IHG whats appt contact. Also one room faced the sun, its was 26-29C during the day - the aircon didn't work when I asked down at reception, I was told it wasn't on as out of season, ended up sleeping with duvet cover"

"The hotel is visually beautiful - design wise and the room was very clean. Housekeeping on the first night/day let me down by not cleaning the room properly. Cups weren’t cleaned, they didn’t refill drinks sachets, didn’t tidy bathroom properly. The following days tidy was up to standard, but not the Saturday. Also, no sweet treat- like a little biscuit - for 5 star I really expected something nice…. Checking in was a bit confusing as there was a queue of 5/6 people and 5 staff- but only 1 member of staff checking us in. So that 15 min wait was not great. Breakfast was really good on day one but scrambled eggs were cold on day 2. I’d still recommend it, good location and very comfy bed."

"Other than the fabulous location across from main train station, not much else to say. Breakfast is poor and not fresh, staff polite but lack managerial skills. Stay for the location bt not much else"

"Location very close to transit and an excellent suoermarket make this s good choice economically, however sleep quality was poor due to the most pathetic pillows possible and an inability to adjust the thermostat. Very disappointing after choosing this place after reading all the other positive reviews."
