"Room was clean, but needed updating. We paid extra for a balcony, but there were no chairs, so we did not get our money’s worth.
If you want an upgrade, go for another suite option.
Location cannot be beat, so overall the rating is good. We walked to theaters and nightclub.
We could not get into the rum house because we did not have a reservation. The hotel breakfast at Friedman’s was a limited menu, but all was very good. French toast was outstanding. You need reservations for breakfast at Friedman’s also, especially in weekends.

"Great location and very comfortable beds. One elevator was continually down which was hard. Tub stopper was only half effective and rusty coloured water came into tub at some point every time i ran it. Slow for service for extra blankets and pillows and to plunge a toilet (7 hours later). There also is an extra $40/night fee which was not advertised until we were checking in. non-negotiable apparently."
"Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and maintained. Gym was large enough to house many. And while there were many people, you did not feel crowded or rushed. Diner on site was convenient and both food and service were good. Central location."
"This is a no water hotel. I thought this was bizarre. So you need to bring your own water bottle. Or go buy from the street vendor. Other than that, great location and very well maintained"
"It was a little on the rundown side but clean I always have high expectations so I’m always let down when you can see general cracks and repairs you can see were done cheap and quick and poorly done"
"The hotel overall was a good experience. I never knew the hotel had a breakfast or where it was at. The hotel is rather small, being so close to Times Square. With that said it was quiet and I couldn’t hear the noise of Times Square which is a huge plus! Don’t expect to get a view from your room. Our view was a brick wall, lol!! Unfortunately for the last 2 days of our stay the AC gave out and the room was very warm. We ended up leaving early to cool off at the airport before our flight home."
