"Curry (now Half Dome) village is an unpretentious base for walking in Yosemite Valley. It is right on the spot for early starts, and the simple cabins (I was in a tent cabin) avoid the need for camping equipment. Facilities on site are well run and just what is needed. The communal dining hall is very good, reasonably priced, and has a nice atmosphere in the evening. The pool has stunning views straight up to Glacier Point, and with the adjacent shower block is very welcome at the end of a hot...

"We loved our stay. Restrooms were clean. Staff were helpful. Place is in a great location as you can walk everywhere or use free public transportation. The pizza was at Curry Village Pizza Deck’s GREAT! "
"We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner one night and used the outdoor Jacuzzi at night. The staff was pleasant and helpful. being near the river was a relaxing sound"
"Didn't have enough time to use the pool or the gym, the property is big; will try to come back with more time to take advantage of them. There is also a nice and serene little park with an inviting shade to relax.😊"
"I mean I realize it’s in the middle of the woods, so keep that in mind. My son woke up to a giant bug crawling on him. It bit him in the night, which meant we got to sleep 3 in our Double bed. lol. I realize there is no place else to really stay in the valley so you’re kinda stuck with it. There’s no AC and it was freaking HOT in our cabin! The restaurant and gift shop were nice to have, but be prepared because they price gauge the heck out of ya. It would be nice if they at least offered a couple bottles of water when you check in. Mediocre cleanliness is to be expected in the woods I guess and can’t comment on the pool as it was closed despite being 80 degrees. "
