Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort

Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort

10/10 Excellent
"For a laid-back and easy experience when visiting Yosemite, I can highly recommend this spot. We stayed in a private cabin. It was quiet and the A/C was perfect for August. The June Bug Restaurant is nice. Standard fare with some vegetarian option. Great coffee in the morning. Please spend the $20 on the spa pass. The mineral soaking tub is wonderful, and the wood sauna helped us sleep like babies. If you’re driving into the park, you’ll want to leave about 40 minutes before your planned arrival. But the YART bus picks up right at the Yosemite Bug driveway if you’re choosing to use that option, so it’s really convenient."

Cedar Lodge

Cedar Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"We found the room clean, the beds comfortable staff friendly. Nice to have a few food items available up by the reception area. If you are on the second floor there does not appear to be an elevator so you will have to haul your luggage up the steps. The restaurant closes at 9, and it takes about an hour to drive back from the central part of Yosemite Valley, so keep that in mind. Overall, would stay here again if I was looking to keep costs down."

"We stayed here for two nights during our Yosemite trip and had a great experience. Even though it’s a 1-star motel, the room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including a small kitchen that made it feel more like an Airbnb. It’s about 30 miles from the Yosemite entrance and was a great value for the price. Highly recommended!"

"The cabin was clean and comfortably well kept, but obviously the shear number of people make it hard to maintain the bathrooms and laundry well."
