"We spent almost three hours looking for our accomodation. None of the locals knew where it was and despite being informed over email that 'my unit would be guaranteed with law arrivals' it was not. We found the hotel several times but had no answer. Oh and one more thing, I booked this because Expedia stated that it was 4.4km from the airport, perfect for me to catch my flight the next morning. "My stay at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo was outstanding from start to finish. I was welcomed with a refreshing cup of cinnamon tea and cleansing towels, offered an early check-in upon arrival, and graciously granted a late check-out, which made my stay especially comfortable. The staff were consistently attentive, professional, and genuinely eager to help. They randomly came by my room and offered a fruit bowl of grapes, bananas, apples and guavas! The on-site restaurant serves excellent food, though prices appear higher than at many nearby establishments. Even so, the exceptional service and warm hospitality made this a memorable stay. I would gladly return."

"All of the staff were very attentive to all of our needs. Cleaning staff did an amazing job. The breakfast buffet was amazing. If you needed anything not in the buffet , the staff would try to accommodate your special needs . All of the managers were friendly and accommodated any special needs that We requested. The Hotel is in a great location close to the ocean . The only issue We found was that the pool was located far from the main building. It was a struggle to get to the pool because of the distance and stairs to get there. Otherwise the pool area was very clean and a great size . Would definitely stay there again on my next trip to Srilanka."
