it was a real great deal considering the price and the city, wouldnt complain . only thing i was not sure of - was there any noise insulation or everyone was just polite and really quiet. lovely place , great staff, good reception area and bar area. definately worth more visits if future allows. Would have preffered a bath instead of shower, didnt check whilst booking it.

Good central location in Watford

Ok for a one night stay in central Watford, reception staff very welcoming and friendly, easy check-in, small car park at rear for guests. Room is very spacious, clean and beds comfortable but very creaky. Very noisy location due to proximity of the busy main road.

Parking is very limited at the hotel, We prebooked at the nearby multi-story for £10 all day. The hotel is 20 minutes walk to the Metroplitan Tube or Watford Junction. The booking requires a further £50 Pre-authorisation at the reception desk. The room was basic. It was warm and appeared clean. If you can get over the 1980s decor the bathroom was functional and the shower powerful. The bed was not very comfortable, and we were woken up around 5am by the noisy extractor fan for the kitchen. We had breakfast at a local cafe which is 5 minutes away in the town centre and the hotel wanted £30 for breakfast. I would rate this an upper 2 star hotel.
