Staff were charming. Room was tired and not well cleaned as well being beyond the reach of the WiFi. Breakfast was grim and very limited rubbery scrambled egg, steamed hash ….beige, cheap catering sausages. Not worth the charge.

Clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room. Sadly, there was a noise akin to a vacuum cleaner running on the floor above intermittently throughout the night. If you're a light sleeper I'd avoid this one. Otherwise it was good value and perfectly comfortable.

Good central location in Watford

Ok for a one night stay in central Watford, reception staff very welcoming and friendly, easy check-in, small car park at rear for guests. Room is very spacious, clean and beds comfortable but very creaky. Very noisy location due to proximity of the busy main road.

Staff support was lacking, only the fellow that helped me with my suitcases and the waitress serving breakfast were friendly and pleasant. The front desk ladies were snobbish, never greets, looked at me as if I were insignificant and not supposed to be there. The front desk lady was the worst of them all. Never cracks a smile, ignors my questions when i was seeking the hotel address. Answers with a troubling hum to me, a guest asking for direction with a very disapproving demeanor. At one morning, she was stretching when i passed to go for breakfast but b4 I could pick my plate, she must have sped, left her post to run to me in the restaurant and asked if I was a guest and my room number and

Cooked breakfast not fresh, mostly overcooked. Rooms dated, shower curtains not long enough, taps dripped, room was cold and minimal duvet. Condensation running down windows every morning, Very minimal room, not cozy in the least. Staff on reception very pleasant. Overall a place to sleep but nothing else.

All the staff were extremely friendly & helpful, going that extra mile. Thank you! My room was spacious, clean & very comfortable, with a fantastic bathroom. The power shower was superb! My only criticism was the breakfast was a bit disappointing. The baked beans were cold, the croissants had run out & the only eggs available were fried, whereas I prefer scrambled. But I'd definitely stay again (without breakfast next time).

The staff was great. Everything else was just okay. The room was tired but not too noisy. Even with facing the parking lot. It’s about 15-20 min walk to the train station. I only stayed one night so I didn’t explore a lot but saw quite a few restaurants while walking to the hotel. There is nothing really close but within walking distance.
