Waters Edge Hotels near Port Orange

"Room overlooks the ocean, stunning view, comfy beds, clean property and things working well. More umbrellas are needed outside as 4 hardly cover occupancy of 160+ in Florida. Ran out of shower gel on our last night and front desk would not help, said we should wait till morning ( essentially - don’t shower.) not convenient to have to look fir a 7/11 after 10 pm to buy shower gel. Other than that, all was very good, I’d stay here again and indirect the room after housekeeping does their job. "

"Coral Sands is my favorite place to stay. Large rooms with a kitchenette and fantastic views. Older hotel, but has everything you need for an extended stay. "

"The room furniture worn freyed couch and desk chair. Coffee table paint all chipped. Bed positioned one way television on other wall could not lay in bed and watch tv. Lamp shade dirty with water stains. Ocean view glass dirty foggy could not have a good view unless glass was open. Went down to get a towel as someone was in the shower as we needed an extra can’t get one from desk someone has to bring it 45 minutes later. You have to pay for parking so if you go and family coming later you pay like $40 a car a day for offsite parking $50.00 for valet not to mention the place a $100.00 a night hold then they charge an additional amount for ancillary hold as well then you play resort fees. Great location, crappy room Asked for a refund for the room not for resort fees or parking verbally, in writing and by phone call … hold your breath… So here’s the breakdown $400 for 2 nights $200 for deposit, $112 for ancillary, $56.25 for resort fees and $160.00 for 2 nights parking for 2 cars You decide if it is worth it!!! Find a different place or insist they give you another room but good luck supervisor not available and wasn’t available when Expedia contacted them"

"Came during Rockville room rate was jacked up three times the normal rate and had nothing extra to offer. Didn’t have a balcony! Think mine may have been the only room that didn’t have one would’ve been nice to have. Food at the restaurant and staff not good. This is my second time staying highly likely I will not get be back."

"Over all rating I would say it was a bit disappointing. The property is self was not as nice as your photographs on the web. Restaurant and bar was always closed, showers by the beach exit and entrance did not work so there was no way to rinse the sand off of someone either stand in the pool or completely get in. The room and hallway to our room had a wet dirty smell to it. Bathroom shower had very low water pressure when showering I mean low pressure, and then there’s the view we were placed on the second floor right above the pool area and had the listen to the gates slamming open and shut as early as 7am. The view itself was obscured by the roof of the tiki bar at pool side which was closed. Major Construction going on next door so at this time I would not recommend visiting again. "

"Poolside is very comfortable and maintained well! Breakfast is ok but not great. Pancakes but no other hot options. Yogurt and boiled eggs and pastries and cereal. Would like prepared oatmeal and biscuits and gravy and omelets. Room is very comfortable! Oceanside is perfect and rejuvenating! "
