The Queens
A pub restaurant with rooms located close to Carlisle which was ideal for work location for me. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. The restaurant food is delicious and the service very good too. On site parking in a rural setting just a nice place to stay and/or dine out.

Warwick Hall
The owner greeted us on our arrival and was very welcoming. Stunning location, enjoyed the walk along the river and visited their private walled garden. The room was very clean and met our needs throughout.

Crown and Mitre Hotel
I was in a room in the annexe, just off the car park. Descent size doubke room with plenty of space to both relax and work, good wifi, powerful shower (over bath) and a very comfortable double bed. The Halston
Really lovely staff, incredible rooms with so much space. It's right in the centre but has a car park next to it too. Can't fault it really.
