"Not what I was expecting at all! The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. I slept very well. When you hear the name Belfy you expect something special but it was a bit of a mix between Butlins and Wetherspoons. We stayed for two nights. Sam’s bar was loud as expected with golfers enjoying well-earned drinks. We tried to book a table for two in the dining area but were told it was first come first served. An hour later we returned to find a table of 16 had been reserved! I was not happy. The main bar had live music which was good but there were lots of drunken groups, including hen do and birthday parties. We also visited the swimming complex where the staff were friendly and helpful and there was something for everyone. "

"Was a good stay, they have hand wash, body and hair wash in the showers in your room so you don’t have to pack it yourself. Our room was clean and peaceful. "

"Parking is easy. However the Breakfast was £16 which is way too expensive and we will never eat all the stuff what is provided. Breakfast should be simple and i don't mind spending about £5 for a breakfast. It is breakfast not a big lunch"

"The room was so dirty, hair in the bath, black mould all round the shower door and bath seal. Literally wiped it and the mould was coming off on tissue. Absolutely disgusting. Complained at reception but haven't had anything back from this. There was also soap in our kettle. Could really do with being redecorated, looked like a leak all down the inside of the windows and all just look shabby and outdated. Would not recommend especially with children I didn't even feel they could play on the floor it was so disgusting. "

"Breakfast was Ok as expected when served up in food warmer as a buffet breakfast usually warm or cold stayed once and freshly cooked breakfast to order was served and it was excellent. Room really nice but could not get jacuzzi to work. Plenty off parking. And Staff are excellent at what they do and promptly sort out any lssues. Especially the gentleman who greats you as you walk in for breakfast. "

"Everything was brilliant apart from 2 things. Unfortunately those things mean we don’t get a proper nights sleep. 1: the shower suddenly started to drip in the middle of the night, not once but twice. Both times lasting around 5 mins. The second time I would not stop and I had to turn the shower on for a few seconds and off again to make it stop. 2. There was a flash and small blip from the fire alarm. Again, this happened more than once through the night. Everything else was good (save a slow check in but they were busy) and if not for these issues it would be 5 stars. However, such a disturbed sleep made the stay somewhere I am dubious to return to. "
