The staff at this hotel were exceptionally polite, and both dinner and breakfast were absolutely fantastic. The hotel itself is obviously old and could use some serious renovations. Overall, I enjoyed the stay, but I probably wouldn't return unless they upgrade a few things.

I'm sorry to say that this experience was not at all what we expected. The lobby is beautiful, however the rooms show signs of significant deterioration (water damage). The bathrooms are old and use water from the hotspring - though commendable from an eco perspective this means smelly showers (sulfur) ...
