We didn't get a chance to try the hot tub but the grounds are beautiful and all staff at lodge and restaurant were kind and helpful. Food was delicious and proximity to Kilauea volcano sights was super convenient. Hope to come back again soon!

Beautiful natural spaces! Mature, rare trees on the property, framing the hot tub. Make sure to know what you are booking. Other guests might not be as respectful as you (eg smoking cigs right outside your window)

Aloha Crater Lodge and Lava Tube
The room is pretty. They offer fruit, noodles, cookies, oatmeal and coffee ground in the room. The wifi is weak, gravel road is narrow but overall a convenient place as a middle stop from kona to hilo.
