"Our room was next to the road, so it was noisy at night, and it was not easy to sleep.
The hotel did not have staff available at night, so if you needed something or had a question, there was nobody to help. They said we could send a message to a phone number if needed, but I tried once and nobody responded.
Overall, considering the price we paid, the hotel was not good at all."
"Clean room. Front desk staff was nice. Plenty of parking. No frills hotel. Comfortable room. Not far from down town. Close to the free way.
Visalia smells funny. All of this area smells funny.
Otherwise good hotel."
"Prices for the room were decent.
Decent in room coffee.
The hospitality market at front desk has some serious usary prices however.
I expect those types of prices at a concert or ball game.
Evidently the cleaning staff hits our floor between 8-9am. Except for the one time we left the 'all set' tag off the door.
Overall the staff were friendly and did a very good job.
The breakfast is good here, well prepared and rarely was there a wait for warm food to be refilled.
Moving the kitchen counter chairs makes quite a loud noise from the floor above, which happen rather frequently. Permanently attached sliding or felt feet would be a huge improvement.
Not sure what they used to wash the sofa bed blanket. If I had to guess it was from a detergent company called Carborundum or Norton abrasives.
We hate fabric softeners mainly for the unhealthy fragrances, but this would be one time to use it.
Fortunately our room had a mostly neutral smell. There was no vanilla scent bomb inconspicuously hidden like the previous room at this location.
If I had one request for all hotels: Use only fragrance free cleaners."
"This was actually a lovely, albeit dated, little hotel in a beautiful spot outside of the sequoia national park. It was honestly nicer than we expected overall, with the only drawback being that the water temperature was very difficult to set in the dated bathroom hardware, and it kept fluctuating from very cold to very hot (potentially since we were the last room in the row and other guests where hopping in and out of the shower around the same time in the morning)."
