"Location is stunning. Rooms are spacious, well designed and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and attentive. For the quality of the hotel and the price, the breakfast was a little underwhelming, just a bread basket, a limited selection of cereals, with cheese and charcuterie for a supplement (no fresh fruits, no eggs, juices weren't fresh etc). The hotel lacks a gym / fitness space. I found this quite strange for a 'spa' resort. "

"The Chalets are spacious, well equipped and close to the slopes. The shared areas might be a bit cramped at maximum occupancy but for 8 in a 10/12 chalet you would still have more space than equivalent in other resorts. Having a garage that we could ski into was a great bonus for storing all the ski kit & keeping the hire car snow free. The only downside for us was that our French was not good enough to communicate effectively with the Manager (he did not speak English) so we had a few...

"A little disappointed as I had booked a hotel with a restaurant ( helpful when travelling alone with kids) and it was closed for the end of season. The room was also rather basic and smelled of damp. On the positive side, the staff were helpful and the breakfast good. I visit Auron a lot but will stay elsewhere next time. "
