"Spectacular location with breathtaking views. The city itself does not have much to offer though. The hotel is super well equipped, the gym and spa are outstanding. The restaurant serves good food and wines as good value prices. The rooms are not fantastically sound proofed so you will be aware of people around you. The staff were attentative and efficient. Overall it's worth a visit for the view and facitities."

"Forget parking. Regardless of what other reviews state, parking is a crap-shoot at best. If you’re like me and unsure about the meaning of European signs, you might accidentally violate parking laws. I have no idea what those consequences might be. "

"This hotel is an oasis of calm and tranquillity. Rooms are bright and in good condition. The bed was comfortable and it was a pleasure to wake up to warm sunlight from the Juliet balcony. The location is great, with easy walking access to several restaurants in town. The staff are a credit to their organisation and helped with advice when asked. The provided information about driving tours of the area, all of which proved fascinating. We particulary recommend visiting Monsanto, Coimbra, Tomar...
