"This hotel was a very good base for visiting Bologna and neighboring cities (Ravenna, Modena). The staff were friendly & helpful and quickly resolved a small issue we had with our room. Bus trip to downtown is 20 minutes, and freeway access to surrounding cities is convenient. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast had a wide variety of fresh breads, fruit, meats, yogurts, etc. All in all a great value and very good experience."

"The room is a dormitory room. The bed had no box spring, just a thin mattress on a platform. The bidet is in the shower. The walls and ceiling are covered with burlap. The staff was rude and unhelpful. You can hear the movie theatre next door in your room. We left early even thought the room was fully paid and non-refundable."

"Savhotel Amelia Bologna was an excellent experience. We reserved a junior suite, and it certainly was the right choice. Our room was very spacious with plenty of places to put our luggage. The restroom was also very spacious and clean. The hotel is well laid out and the amenities are top notch. We took advantage of the evening bar, as well as the gym. Both were very nice. The hotel is conveniently located, and we were able to walk to local bars and restaurants. Above all, the best part of this hotel is their service! Annapaola greeted us upon arrival. We had a long day prior, and her delightful demeanor made our evening much more pleasant. We asked for a recommendation for dinner to which we could walk, and she quickly shared one of her own favorites. This was a restaurant that we never would have found ourselves, but was possibly one of the best meals we have ever had. In the morning, she again greeted us as we checked out, and volunteered to hold our luggage and call a taxi after we returned from breakfast, which she did a couple hours later. Service like Annapaola provided is not common, but makes one’s travel experience a 10+! We will not hesitate to return to the Savhotel Amelia Bologna!"
