although the room had simple cooking facilities which we didnot use, the room was a little cramped if you were eating in, and did not just sleep there.

"Good hotel near the old centre though tucked behind a very ugly couple of 60s buildings. 12 minute walk to the cathedral.
Breakfast was good, though the room it is served in lacked natural light or character.
Fitness centre was too small to use, but Basic Fit 6 mins away offers a day pass for €11.99 and is very well equipped.
Room very nice and staff lovely. Decent hotel bar too."
