"My fiancé and I had an unforgettable time at this hotel, where we got engaged while overlooking the breathtaking view of Mount Vesuvius and Castello Aragonese. Our room featured a lovely backyard area with a stunning scenery, making every moment feel magical. Ischia is a place I will always return to in Italy. On our first night, we had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, and the food, service, and view were all outstanding. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was fresh every...
"Excellent customer service, excellent food, excellent location. Alessandra at the front desk is the best together with staff at the restaurants and all crew in the hotel. We would like to return soon."
"This hotel is where you need to stay in Ischia. The location is absolutely perfect and the staff was incredible. Our room was great and we will be staying here when we come back."
"Friendly welcome, helpful advice on what to see around the island and how to travel. Superb view from our balcony, comfortable. Wholesome home cooked, home grown food, if not locally sourced. Really happy we chose to stay here."
"It was a great location. Room was decent size, clean comfortable beds. Nice beach front, grest size pool nice balcony room. Good breakfast. The spa was not much. They had a spa the massage was okay for the price but I would not recommend going to this hotel for a spa.
Good location, clean and nice people.."
"My daughter and I had a wonderful 6 days at Continental Mare. Our room was upgraded (thank you very, very much!) and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good, with great gluten-free options. The shuttle to town was very helpful and the short-cut walking path to town gave us a bit of exercise, but was easier than I expected.
No negatives at all - our stay was excellent."

"This was a great hotel with an unbelievable staff. The location was right on the water and near the Castle therefore plenty of options for dinner and site seeing. The room was great and breakfast each day was enjoyable. The beach staff was wonderful and helpful in all areas."
"As a solo traveller I was glad to find affordable single person accommodation. However the single rooms are downstairs and there is no balcony, or view or even a proper window. It is possible to be outside but it’s a terrace walkway between buildings. I am sure the upstairs rooms are much better. Excellent breakfast tho the buffet is waiter controlled creating much comedic confusion. Breakfast is ok tho. No tea / coffee machine in room and I’d been used to that in my other rooms in Italy. AC slow but quiet and did work. Take mozi repellent and plug in as there were plenty about but by being prepared I had no issues.
Beach accessible from hotel via a private access. Loungers are not part of the hotel. Reasonable prices. Good location to get around Ischia and the town is lovely. Lots of really good restaurants. Bed was NOT comfortable- needs a new mattress but it didn’t break me
All in all it did what it needed to and gave me somewhere to wash and sleep and base myself from to enjoy the island at an affordable price. "
