"What can I say…prefect doesn’t really cover it. Great central location, overlooking the Anfiteatro with the rest of Lucca all within walking distance. Extremely clean and comfy room with all I needed and the guest house also has shared kitchen facilities with coffee, tea and little snacks available (all gratis). The hostess, Valentina, could not have been more helpful, met me on arrivals, gave a tour of the guest house and provided many recommendations for my stay. If (when) I’m in Lucca again, I will certainly be looking to use Residenza FillAnfi again."

"I had no information in advance that the property has noone after 19:00. My flight was delayed and they send me a mail that says "we will have noone after 19:00" Which of course I did not receive because I was flying. They have left the key in the door. I could get inside without any problem but accidently find the key. I had not information before where is the key, what is the room number, who I can go inside, etc. OTherwise the room was very good, clean and very comfortable."

"The location is everything. It’s about a 12 minute walk to the train station but there is also a bus right outside the property. It’s conveniently located within the walls and walkable everywhere with lovely places to pop for a drink or a bite to eat nearby. You do need to walk up some steep stairs to get to the rooms so beware if you aren’t packing light! The room we had was lovely with two spacious bedrooms that were divided by a door (a/c only in one and the interior person would have to walk through the other’s room to use the bathroom). The beds were very firm but comfortable and the large bathroom was well appointed. The shower did not drain well so you ended up standing in water but for a couple of nights, it wasn’t a problem. We appreciated the water and the sweets left for us on check in and the communal coffee machine was a nice touch (and the other guests were very quiet as well). Stefano was great at communicating check-in and welcomed us on time. I’d stay here again without hesitation."
