"1) were told that Italian law said that the room must be cold and the only choice we had was to open the windows, of course no screens. 2) room had one US voltage(no ground) so none of our stuff worked. ask for a converter or adapter and was told we could walk 10 minutes to a store to buy one, it was closed. Later another employee got us an adapter. 3) Bar and restaurant service was good and the food was great."

"The hotel was beautiful, very quaint. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our toilet, in the early morning, had major issues! The poor guy at the desk! They had it all fixed when we came back from an outing. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The view from our balcony on the grand Canal in Venice was amazing, looking to the right you saw the Rialto Bridge, across the canal, beautiful hotels, and to the left a stunning view of the canal. The staff was wonderful, very helpful with any need we had. Our room, a junior suite, was beautiful and extremely clean."

"Loved the authentic Italian feel and renovated villas. Felt very immersed in the culture. The pool was beautiful and relaxing after a very busy few weeks of travelling. Would have liked onsite dining availability however we did wander down the street and found a wonderful pizzeria for lunch."

"Fantastic and helpful staff. They were accommodating enough to let us drop off luggage a few hours early before check in and the luggage was waiting for us in our room. Fantastic room that was spacious and clean. Perfect for our family of 4. Great location right across from the train station and within walking distance of more than a dozen restaurants. We felt safe and well accommodated there. The only slight hiccup was that, for a hotel of this status, we felt the breakfast was a little lacking. The eggs, sausage, bacon, and beans were not very good. The fruit was fairly mediocre as well. The pastries/bread were adequate, and the cheeses were good, as well as the coffee/hot chocolate. In spite of the mediocre breakfast, in all other regards, this hotel was far and away the best we stayed at during our entire 10-day European trip. I would definitely stay here again."
