Crown Isle Resort and Golf Community

"Really enjoyed my stay at this resort. We stayed at the cottages, efficient layout, separate bedroom and living space, clean, full kitchen, and modern fixtures. A bit of road noise from Ryan Street, nothing too loud. Only suggestion is for resort to add some chargers for EV/PHEV, nowadays, you need this. Even if it was a 110V plug accessible at the Cottages, or certain parking spots. Level 2 would be even better. All in all, a strong recommend!"

"We had a wonderful stay here for two nights while we visited the area for my partner's birthday. We both agreed that the bed in the room was our favourite part. It was like sleeping on a supportive fluffy cloud and we both slept so well which is new for us. The staff were lovely, the room was clean and the shower water pressure was out of this world good!! There's a mini fridge and microwave and sink but no dishes or utensils so bring your own or hit up the dollar store a few blocks from the Inn. We had planned on getting breakfast and dinner at the diner that is featured in the listing for the Inn but it looked long closed down and boarded up so we had to pivot. The coin operated laundry was such a bonus because we anticipated getting damp on our night kayak tour and the whale watching tour. We fortunately didn't but if we had gotten wet on day one and there wasn't a laundry room we could access, the nightmare of putting on wet clothes for the next day's all day tour would had significantly brought down the experience. So it was wonderful to know we had the option of clean dry clothes if we needed it. Parking was ample, location was central, supermarkets, food, Starbucks etc, all close by. The rubber covering on the stairs to the upstairs rooms was a little scary as the step edge fittings weren't quite attached and we definitely tripped a few times going up and down. A great expereince all round. Thank you!"

"Nicely renovated (still in progress), very clean, beautiful location across from ocean/beach, convenience of restaurant, which we enjoyed and food was very good..Amenities were enjoyable, sauna. Hot tub and pool...everything was very well presented and clean...Bed was showing some age and could you replacement, but otherwise, enjoyable stay..."

"For the price, it was good. The kitchen was well stocked. The room was spacious. The gym had a good selection of equipment. The only disappointments were the small pool (they have a second, grander pool that requires paying for the spa) and we had no success using the non-standard, pay-for-use EV charger; rather than Flo or Chargepoint. We installed the app and followed the directions but we couldn't get it to work."

"Our stay was relaxing, and they let our small dog stay too, which was great. We didn't eat dinner there because they won't let dogs in the restaurant or bar, even on the outdoor patios. The pool and hot tub and sauna area was great. The hot tub could be a little hotter, but still very enjoyable. They closed these at 9pm instead of 11pm like it says in all the literature and signage. We did eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant. It was good, but very expensive for what we had, and apparently coffee refills aren't included so we ended up with $18 on the receipt for drip coffees... We found a super nice little waterfront restaurant, Azure Pier, within easy walking distance, and they were very welcoming for us and the dog on their outdoor patio with a gorgeous view, highly recommended for dinner!"
