"When I checked in they stressed the damage deposit hold on my credit card and I felt like they thought that I - an 80 yr old - was likely to be holding a raucous party or something. Weird. Not incredibly friendly, not bad but not welcoming. This hotel is closest to Vancouver General Hospital where I was going for cancer treatment so it really didn't sit too well."

"Housekeeping was the best part of our stay. They were very thorough and non intruding. The room was OK, very small. There was no where to sit except in the chair that was behind a desk. There was one bag stand otherwise you were scattering clothes on the floor. There was not a chest to put the clothes. The staff was helpful but acted like they didn't want to be there with the exception with a few (waiters and waitresses) that went out of their way to help. Even though it was our wedding anniversary there was no mention of it even though it had been mentioned by us. We didn't feel like it was worth the $$$'s we spent."
