"Was a very nice hotel"

"There was not a drop of shampoo in the dispenser as I took a shower. After my shower, I called the front desk to notify them, I was told that a shampoo bottle would be brought up; I never received one. "

"This place was just horrible. The only good things is that the bed is comfortable, the tv set is modern and has streaming apps and there are restaurants and gas stations within a short drive / walk. Bad: *the room, towels and bedsheets felt filthy despite looking relatively clean at first. *Furniture is damaged and graffiti covered *I almost slipped in the shower as there were 3 thin tiny strips meant to be an anti slip surface. *Parking lot is small and there were several times where guests would take up 2 spots or drive a big SUV that would make it difficult to park in the next spot over. *Lot of shady looking people hanging around in blacked out SUVs, Teslas, and sports cars. *A/C is very loud and uses Celsius. *They didn't include a ”Do Not Disturb” sign in the room. I went to the front desk to ask for one, but the old Asian male with shaved head kept saying that I was asking for a ”broom sweep”. I tried saying it again but he then gave me a blank look, as if I was speaking gibberish. I took a picture of a sign nearby to show him what I was talking about, be he deliberately ignored me and stared at his computer. A maintenance worker eventually helped me get one. *No sound proofing, so you can hear and feel everyone walking by with their screaming kids while laughing or cussing. *The surrounding area is not a safe area, especially at night. *Internet speed is terrible and unstable. *Bugs got in the room several times. Seriously, just avoid this motel at all costs."

"I think the rooms can be cleaner, the pool you cant even use it because the water is freezing cold."

"The motel is completely remodeled very nice interiors. Not necessarily a lot of little extra no coffee maker not lots of soaps, etc. but you don’t miss it because the interior remodel is very nice. Everything white modern sinks bathrooms all nicely remodeled clean safe very centrally located to Van Nuys. Sherman Oaks is the access the new parking in the back. And very affordable."

"Bare basics, this hotel offered a minimal standard of hospitality. When we arrived there was a paw print on our bedsheet along with multiple other unknown stains. The sink had leftover blue toothpaste residue on the upper right corner that housekeeping had obviously overlooked. Then at a most time critical moment, when I picked up to use the hair dryer only warm air blew out at the lowest speed possible: When I went down to get a replacement from the front desk I was told there was no other dryer I could use in the entire premise and that I would have to wait 30 minutes until house keeping or maintenance could come to help. When I complained that that was unacceptable and poor treatment of their guests, another employee emerged and produced another hairdryer. I repeated my complaint about the bedding and toothpaste in the sink and was told that they would inform housekeeping. Later that night upon return from our busy day, we found our room had not been upkept, the bed was unmade and the toothpaste residue was still there. Originally I felt compassion for this hotel and its owner and decided to keep my opinions in perspective. But upon further reflection, I believe this hotel is more interested in its monetary interests over their guests comfort. Many of my requests would not incur a greater cost to the business but rather it would convey an interest in their guests comfort and sense of value. Instead, as a guest I felt very uncared for and all in the business’ desire for $$."

"1)Room Front Door Panel was partially pull off! 2)The light switch at the room entrance did not turn on anything because the bulb to the lamp was missing! 3) The Smoke Alarm was missing from the ceiling, wires were exposed! It was sitting next to the TV. 4) Tissue Holder was empty not just out of tissues. 5) Only 3 towels for a room that sleeps 4.1 Bath, 1 Hand, 1 Wash Cloth Towel. 6) Did not have a toothbrush to give us."

"The location was great for me, and the staff was outstanding. I had no problem parking. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. I will return!"
