"I was very welcomed by Mohamad, the owners son. I had a good size 2 bed room with a balcony that you could see a temple and the air balloons taking off from a beautiful green field. The room was clean, with towels, soap, and a hot shower. Breakfast was delicious with tea, fresh bread, fresh cheese, yogurt, and honey. I’m very grateful to have found this Gem for my Luxor visit. I will definitely be back here. "

"The hotel is still under construction. But the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
I was surprised at how fast the Wi-Fi was. Breakfast is delivered to your room.
And what made me happiest was that there was cold beer in the refrigerator, available at Egyptian prices."

"Sayed, the owner is a remarkable human being. Highly intelligent, kind, humble and very organized, which are a powerful combination when running a hotel. I cannot recommend his establishment highly enough."

"Al Hambra Hotel was amazing value for money. The room was good and we had everything we needed but please do not expect western style comfort. The breakfast was quite similar every morning but very filling. They were very willing to provide a free flask of boiling water and mugs for a drink is you being your own tea bags and coffee and don’t like the local stuff or need decaf. There is a great corner shop just round the corner for water, drinks and snacks. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the...

"Beutiful hotel located on the pieceful West Back of Luxor. This property has the best views of the East and West banks of Luxor.
The staff are welcoming and very helpful, offering sunset Felucca rides, and transportation if needed.
The meals here are amazing.
The best breakfast I have had anywhere in my travels by far.
I would highly recommended staying here."

"1. Run down and outdated accommodations. Bed made funny noises when moving on them. 2. Wifi was very spotty. Had to go in the lobby or the reception area to work. Big reception area. Careful as some cushions had gum stuck to it.
3. Hot water was spotty. Tip:. Put water pressure on low to have continuous hot water. 4. Dirt stains in the shower walls and tub, with dirty showers curtains. The hooks on the shower curtains weren't placed right,. Had to fix it to take a shower. 5. 2...

"We had an excellent stay at Sharqotel Luxor!
The hotel is in the country side, but perfect for exploring the west bank, and is close by to restaurants and shops. Especially the beautiful Habu Tempel, don’t miss it!
The room was clean, modern and had a great view! Our host, Mohammed Dahab, was very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great as well, and huge!
He helped us arrange a taxi back to the hotel.
Thank you for the stay!"
