"The hotel was in a fabulous setting in an old monastery. Notwithstanding its age, it had been modernised sympathetically and had the benefit of historical features with the comforts of modern age. We have stayed with Parador hotels before in Salamanca and feel they offer great value for money."

"A well positioned hotel with comfortable beds and good water pressure and hot water. Although we booked a standard room we were allocated one with a big terrace. The views across the valley were lovely. There was an issue over payment which was resolved very quickly and professionally. We had a good (included) breakfast but did not eat supper here as we were too hungry to wait for 9pm when they opened."

A few minor niggles, sensors and timers not working well in car park/by lifts, and a few bits missing in room (soap, spoons, glasses). But overall very good value for the quality of well kitted and immaculately clean accommodation."
