The room was rather stark with a television that glitched quite a bit but we were not into the room that much. Despite the uninspiring interior decor of the room, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. If you’re not looking for anything fancy or somewhat luxurious, this would be a good place to stay."

"The Posada de San José is deep into Old Town, quite remote, but reachable from the train station via the L10/L1 bus lines. Pack snacks if you get hungry between 4 and 8; there's no nearby McDonald's. When it opens, the on-site restaurant has great food; you shouldn't miss out. The place is very rustic and has great canyon views. Some head ducking might be required on the premises and in your room. The bathroom is old, but functional. Showering (fully curtained) is possible without making a EU puddle on the floor. The bed was quite comfortable."
