"Nice hotel in a central location. Parking (valet) is $50/day with in and out privileges. On the day I left, instead of pulling into one of the spaces open at the curb, the valet opted instead to throw on my car’s hazards in the middle of 4th Street, backing up traffic. He also failed to put my car into park before he got out so it started drifting away. When people on the sidewalk (including me) started yelling, he jumped back in and managed to put it in park, still blocking the street but at least it didn’t crash. I loaded the back and drove off.
Although I’m guessing the valet is an independent contractor and not a hotel employee, I’m deducting a star for the experience. Absolutely wild - but glad nobody was hurt.
The hotel itself is fine."
