"Great location and great rate. Included breakfast is nice and was as expected, except waffles as noted below. Hotel was mostly clean, but there was a stain on the sheets. Teflon coating on waffle maker peeled off badly into my waffle, I threw it away and skipped waffles. Someone I assume worked at the hotel abruptly approached me at the breakfast buffet and asked something about if I took a drink. Maybe was referring to their small store area? He must have had the wrong person but the exchange was uncomfortable and he did not offer any apologies."

"I was pleasantly surprised to find out how nice the Palmetto was considering its low cost. Checking in was an easy process with the help of the friendly staff. Our king sized room with a kitchen was very clean and roomy for two people. The balcony faced the gulf and had two chairs and a small table."
