"The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. It is obviously an old building that has had some updates but not a total renovation. Modern conveniences, like charging ports for devices, fast WiFi, and a large selection of television channels and movies were not available. The free breakfast was pretty standard (microwaved sausage links, eggs, and potatoes) but also included make your own waffles. It was kept well stocked and everything was fresh. There were cookies and popcorn at check in, which was nice. If I were to recommend any changes it would be 1) complimentary bottled water… we had to go out to get drinks for the room 2) put updated appliance in the rooms (lamps, clocks, TVs) and 3) replace the tub/shower which shows a lot of wear. We paid $144 a night and I think $115 a night would have been more reasonable. Overall our needs were met, we were comfortable, and everything was clean. Nothing special but we would stay there again because it is affordable."
