"The only negative during my stay, was that my room was next to the office (which is also a liquor store) The door closer on the office door was broken allowing the door to slam shut EVERYTIME someone went in or out. It woke me up several times!"

"This hotel was renovated 2 yrs ago. Well done. Nothing fancy. Super friendly and very clean. Continental Breakfast was very nice. Its easy access and next to truck stop which provided a great,very clean and good food restaurant. I must point out that even tho next to truck stop it was not noisy. This was also a great hotel for fisherman! Plenty of parking for a boat and receptical outside to recharge. With a truck stop restaurant you aren't without a meal after long day of fishing! Hotel Inexpensive, clean, friendly. Will definitely stay again!"

"This is a very well-maintained older hotel. Parking is ample. You can get either an inside or outside entry room which I have don't recall seeing before. The rooms are very clean and the beds are perfect for me. The breakfast buffet is well done including hot items. And they have great tv reception, not the grainy pictures that are becoming too common. The only thing that they need to improve it the air conditioning. For some reason, it doesn't cool it just runs. I have stayed there two times with the same issue. In the winter it is no big deal, but in the summer, not so good. The staff is very nice."

"I was hesitant to stay somewhere that charges for parking BUT it was so easy. You could drive in and out up until 3pm the day of departure all for only $17! It was also so fun being able to walk around, see all the kids enjoying college life. AND delicious FREE coffee in the morning! I think I had three cups! Plus the staff was so welcoming, beautiful rooms and decorated in Penn State Colors. Definitely will stay there again."

"I stayed at the Hampton Inn for a Penn State Football game. The staff was very accommodating and allowed me to check in early due to my early flight arrival. The room was fine, but the breakfast was excellent. Having coffee available in the foyer at other times was also handy. It is in a great location--walking distance to Beaver Stadium. The restaurant and club next door was a bonus."
