"This hotel is terrific! I am so glad I stayed there. People were great! Room was great! View of trees from my big glass windows was great! I will recommend Hawthorne Inn and Conference Center and stay there again myself."
"Standing outside to check in gave a sense of a high crime area which was an uneasy feeling.. the area seemed fine, so why the distance of shutting down the check in area… I wont stay here again.
Price was low so I guess I have too high of an expectation "
"Nice and modern and well appointed. Very clean and cozy. Loved the proximity to Acadia Farms for coffee a few groceries and delicious biscuits. Easy ride to UNCSA and downtown Winston-Salem.
There may have been a squatter living on the porch of the house next door. We weren't worried as we are big city people but other guests may feel uncomfortable. Overall a great place to stay in WS."
