We stayed for four nights and wouldn’t change a thing. The staff is so welcoming and accommodating. The food at Cascades is so good…we ate there three out of four nights. We enjoyed a couples massage in our villa that was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.

The resort is beautiful and well maintained with so many intricate stone carvings donning the walls. The staff is very hospitable and affectionate. The Cascade restaurant is very elegant with good plant-based choices. The Aperitif (2nd restaurant) is also very chic for fine dining, but the portion size is extremely small. Good free shuttle service to Ubud. Would stay again!!

World Class Hotel

An incredible stay at the best hotel I’ve ever stayed up. It well lives up to its reputation of being one of the best hotels in the world. The attention to detail is fantastic right down to the twice a day housekeeping service. The villas which all come with a heated pool overlook the jungle and rice terraces and really make you feel like you’re in your own secluded paradise. This hotel is 5+.

A true world-class luxury hotel, where staff remembers your name and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. As a local taxi driver put it, “they treat you like kings (and queens) in there.” We enjoyed our pool suite villa, and took advantage of the two excellent restaurants in the hotel, with Apertif one of the best in Ubud. Tip: don’t skip the welcome drinks at the Apertif bar, easily one of the best with old-world decor oozing speakeasy vibes. Daily free hotel activities for guests, golf carts taking you from your room to anywhere on hotel property, and stunning views morning and night make staying here a 10/10 vacation experience.

Absolutely Superb Resort

It’s clear to us why the Viceroy earned their Conde Nast World Class rating. The grounds are impeccable, the view of the lush green valley is magnificent, and the relatively small size of the complex (<50 villas) supports a very high staff to guest ratio resulting in high touch quality care where guests are recognized and greeted by their names. Check-in was effortless and welcoming, our buggy ride to the villa provided a bird’s eye view of the grounds (spa, restaurants, exercise facility, bar, pools, etc), and our villa was expansive, well laid out, and pleasurable. Wifi was constant and dependable and service was prompt and responsive. Food was generally high quality, but some dishes were better than others. The staff’s fluency in English made the stay easy. Their shuttle services to/from Ubud was appreciated.

What an extraordinary experience. Beautiful facility, spacious room, high end amenities, extraordinary service. We were constantly surrounded by Balinese sincere kindness and attention to every need. Lovely hotel with lovely staff. Many of whom have worked there since the hotel opened 20 years ago. You can't do better in my mind and I've traveled the world.

全体的には凄く良いホテルでした。 施設の古さが目立つかな。 特に部屋が、、、 今回はエレファントヴィラに泊まりました。 スタッフさんの対応や食事の美味しさ、スパも凄く良かった。 部屋はあまり期待しない方がいい。 年数が経っている割には、料金が高めと感じました。 そこを許容できるならおすすめです。 メインプールも素晴らしい。
