This was a simple room with a comfortable bed for a very reasonable price. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We used the pool and it was clean and we found it great for swimming.
Great hotel. Very comfortable, fantastic rooms, very helpful staff and nice pool area. Very modern with great showers and room amenities. Good location (15 minute walk to centre or a quick scooter ride). Would recommend.
Large comfy room with balcony. Nice pool. No frills for lobby & restaurant - which makes good value for the room. Superb location away from the main street hence quiet; but walking distance to center of Ubud. Loved the stay.
This place is perfect for a stay in UBUD. Very centrally located but enough out of the way you aren’t right on the Main Street. It’s the perfect base to go out and explore. The cafe next door is also delicious! Everyone is friendly. Would definitely reccomend.
Hotel was lovely and flock attached to it did amazing breakfast, coffee and doughnuts. The only down side was at night it was very noisy. I would say this is only the case if your room is on the road side which ours was. The staff and hotel is great though!
Very nice small hotel with a pool and small restaurant in the heart of Ubud. Staff is fabulous... Able to cheerfully answer any questions, make suggestions, etc. Spa staff were great... Very relaxing massage services. Only suggestion would be filtered water dispensers in rooms or at least the lobby to allow refilling water bottles instead of using disposable bottles
I loved staying at Artotel. They have free yoga in the morning twice a week, a nice pool, and my room on the third floor was so lovely.
The staff were constantly cleaning and up keeping the hotel. It was so clean and nice. The staff was also generally very helpful, friendly, and professional. They were quick to help me with anything I needed.
Additionally, a few weeks later I was no longer staying at the hotel. I needed a place to keep my luggage while I waited for my flight home and they graciously let me keep it behind the front desk no questions asked. Highly recommend this place with the kindest and loveliest staff !
I like that the hotel is really located centrally. I could walk to The Yoga Barn in 7 minutes and to fancy restaurants in 10 minutes.
The hotel is a little bit dark and you hear everything from the rooms next to you. They wanted me to give a room next to the street which is really loud because of traffic, scooters. Had quite some discussions before they provide a room to the other side which was good in the end.
Service of receptionists is not customer- friendly. Because I liked the location of the hotel, I wanted to extend for 2 more nights. The price they told me was nearly double to the Expedia price. Receptionist wasn‘t very helpfull in this process.
But it is clean and I the hotspots are in Walking- distance.
Cute little hotel with friendly and super helpful staff. Has a wonderful spa, lovely small pool and rooms are clean and spacious.
Restaurant attached to hotel, Flock has a small menu but great food and and a very talented barista
Artotel was so amazing - it was clean, affordable, and the location was easy to get to a lot of different places (either walking or simple to get a taxi). but more importantly - the staff was INCREDIBLE. they were there for anything i needed - friendly, helpful, amazing. i can not say enough things. everyone was great but specifically two people Dwija and Gede just helped me with anything. I would stay here over and over for the staff.
There’s no gym but to be honest for the price you are paying; the value is damn good do you can’t fault it.
The property and room is top notch (but sound proofing might be an issue). Too notch in the sense of the room size; the design and insta worthiness of the whole place. Property is also conveniently located, so it is easy to go around ubud.
Food wise; the restaurant next to it which Artotel partners to bring you breakfast is a great place to eat; the kombucha and flan donuts are a must try!
The property is beautiful and the staff was so friendly and amazing! Same with the staff at the adjoining cafe. I will definitely return here and recommend it to others. Great location also! Walking distance to many restaurants and shops.
The hotel is located in a rather quiet part of Ubud, to walk to the city center it takes around 10-15 min. The next supermarket is 5min away. Breakfast is included in the café next door, however, each guest will just get to choose one breakfast item + drink. These items are rather small for someone who prefers a bigger breakfast.
The room is absolutely gorgeous as well as the pool. In general, the hotel is really small and has more of a boutique vibe. Many travellers here are 20 - 40 years old and there are pretty much no young children.
Good hotel overall.
- Good location.
- Mostly good Internet connection (though it often stops working for like 30 seconds)
- Helpful and attentive staff.
- Pleasant rooms.
- Balcony great for doing yoga.
