My one thing I didn’t love was that the bathroom, which is separate from the main room, did have a lot of small ants on the counter. "This is a beautiful property, the food and staff are warm and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful. They keep the property up, spray twice a day to keep the mosquitoes down. They also have complementary bug spray plug-ins for the walls. I didn’t like the garden villa bathroom/shower had a small opening to the outside. The pool villa was gorgeous and completely closed off. I like that better than the other villas with vents to the outside.. the pool water is cool not heated and my pool Villa must’ve been some kind of bird or animal on the roof because it kept dropping poop right in front of my pool villa. I did not like that but they cleaned it up every time. It sits on the hill maybe 10min from the market, construction 🚧 going on in the area so the roads were rough but I loved my stay there "

Situated approximately 2 hours north of Denpasar, it is well worth the trip.
The staff were super friendly, the rooms and amenities very clean and tidy.
A good spot to base yourself for sight seeing in Eastern Bali.
I recommend utilising tour bookings at the hotel, using a driver and guide. We had Desy, as our guide, who was very informative with a cheerful deposition.
Food options were very good with various options at the three restaurants.
There is an ATM across the road from the hotel with a couple of local eateries and a small convenience store.
The hotel arranged transport transfers for us, with no issue.
In all, we enjoyed our week here and will be back for a future stay.

"I stayed at the Mason Park Lodge and it was exquisite from being picked up from my balcony by an elephant for my first dinner to seeing a white peacock with its tail out and 3 giant tortoises on my last day. Everything was very convenient with a beautiful scene at every turn from lush foliage to beautiful wildlife. I was surprised that the menu at the restaurant seemed ordinary in comparison to the surroundings, however the food was well cooked and presented with as with everything else wonderful smiling service. Of course there were elephants at every turn, truely a memorable stay and experience."
