"Rooms we're perfect and very clean and smart. Pool areas we're good. Only thing that let's this property down is the staff, it is very hit and miss, some staff we're unbelievable and others we're rude. We rented 2 bikes and they both broke then we tried to use an adverstised Hotels.com bar discount and they took it really funny and tried to do anything not to give it us"

"Spectacular, unobstructed view from the beach, great for sunrise pics(although it takes some patience waiting for a morning without heavy cloud). The pool was excellent, it's quite large, reasonably deep, and stays cool even if the afternoons. The set breakfast menus are delicious, especially the mashed avocado with poached eggs. Staff are incredibly friendly, and the porches for the bungalows are a nice place to relax and read something in the evenings. Also, it's far enough south that the noise from farther north doesn't make it down, so you can get some rest at night. I definitely plan to stay here again. Cheers, all."

"Super hotel. Propre, beau et personnel aux petits soins. Les piscines sont agréables et le petit déjeuner est suffisamment variés avec des choix sucrés et salés (parfois un peu trop de sel à mon goût). Très bien situé au nord de l'île. Proche de tout à pied mais sans les bruits des bars et clubs alentour. Location de vélos sur place (un peu plus cher qu'en ville par exemple). Seul point négatif de mon opinion : la présence d'un canard. Il est cute et gentil par contre il faut des cacas liquides partout et se baignent dans les piscines... Douteux."

"Stay here, and forget all your problems🙏 We stayed here for 1 week, and this is really really a good spot in Gili Trawangan! Spotless rooms, with spacious bath/shower, really nice poolarea and the white beach is like instagram! Only negative, you need shoes to go in the ocean, and you have to walk a distanse to swim. "

"First, the positives... We stayed in a Julu room. The bed, linens, and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and sweet, and treated us very well. I appreciated that someone came around every dusk to light a mosquito coil on our front patio. My wife and I also really enjoyed having the patio to sit on in the evening after dinner. There is a lovely fan right above the sitting area which keeps things cool and keeps mosquitoes away. Also, the property's cats are very sweet. The included a la carte breakfast was also quite good. It was nice being right across the street from the beach and there are turtles swimming just off the shoreline. The staff arranged transportation from the resort to the peer, a boat to Lombok, and a car waiting to take us to the airport. It was seamless. Now, for the downside... There were not a lot of electrical outlets in the room. The only one we could find access was in the bathroom. The woven seats in the room when we checked in, were too low for us to sit on. But when we asked for chairs they accommodated us with some from the dining area. The photos of the rooms make it look quite bright; they're actually quite dark even with the inside lights on. As the bathroom is partially outdoors (traditional Indonesian), that means it's usually quite hot and humid in there and mosquitoes are readily able to access that area. Another thing to be aware of is that the north side of the island it's not as quiet as I had thought. There are "

"All the above and more. The reception was beautiful and easy. The gardens were beautiful. We did not expect such a lovely place to stay that had a beautiful big pool and tennis courts. "

"Gili Eco Villas is an excellent place to stay! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming and were very attentive. (Shout-out to Yogi for finding someone to repair a torn zipper on one of our large bags.) Our two-room villa was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The two pools are very nice and the beach is right there. Being at the north end of the island, it was easy to follow the beach a little way east to see the sunrise or a little way west to see the sunset. We rented bikes right there and used them to get around the island during our stay. The food at their restaurant was fresh and delicious and the staff there were also very warm and exceedingly patient with our comical attempts at speaking Bahasa.
