"This is not a “big city resort”. Boutique hotel means very very small. But it truly is beachfront, it’s quiet and has a warm pool. The breakfast is plenty and cooked nicely and the staff are really nice. If you want to be in the middle of Kamala away from hustle and bustle this place is fine. The bedsheets were the best I’ve ever slept on. "

"Beautiful location, hotel was stunning , our room was amazing, staff were wonderful and we felt welcome, and felt like home. Overall having access to a beautiful beach was amazing. "The property was close to the beach. The staff were wonderful. The room was clean. The pool was amazing. The breakfast selection was excellent. We were disappointed that the menu for the all-inclusive was very limited for drinks and food. The food that was on the all-inclusive was good. The gym was ok. One bike was broken and the other, the digital display was not working. The elliptical was functional but you could not change any settings as you could not override the Error-7 code. The treadmills seemed to work fine. They said they would send maintenance but nothing changed by the time we left. Overall, a very nice experience and the proximity to the beach and shopping was excellent."

"The hotel was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, food and drinks were very reasonable and there was a lovely buffet breakfast an available. We stayed in a delux pool view room which was clean and spacious. We are planning to return next year."

"We had an incredible stay at Marin Hotel Kamala and couldn't recommend it more. The amenities are fantastic, and the breakfast buffet was a highlight—truly versatile with options to suit every palette. Pro Tip on Rooms: We highly recommend booking a Pool View Room over the pool access/walk-out rooms. It felt like a much better setup for privacy and overall vibe. The location is unbeatable. It’s a very short walk to the beach and about a 10-15 minute stroll to the main strip, where you’ll find plenty of accessible shops and great places to eat. There are also several inexpensive laundry options right nearby, which was super convenient. Of all the beaches we visited during our trip, Kamala Beach was easily our favorite. The sand is lovely, and the vendors are incredibly friendly without being pushy. It’s the perfect balance of lively and relaxing. We will definitely be back!"

"Excellent property located in a quite corner of the beach. The breakfast was excellent with great patio dinnig tables on the beach. The room is clean and modern. Pika and Top were excellent breakfast hosts in line with the best restaurants in the world. 800 m walk along the beach to the commercial area with great shops and restaurants. Some rooms have a challenging access to the beach and front end."

"This is a great butique hotel with a decent location. Not beachfront but 2 minutes away from Kamala beach. Your room is huge. Love the kitchen area with fridge freezer. Staff are excellent. Our air conditioning wasn't working in the living area and it was fixed straight away. The bar area and check in are the same. The layout feels a little odd and not conducive to wanting to go down to sit there to have a drink. It feels like there is nowhere to sit and no tables to rest your drinks. The photos give a different impression of the bar.it feels like a missed revenue opportunity for the hotel. On the subject of missed revenue opportunities, whilst we were in the pool, we were never asked if we wanted a drink. Especially as they offer free ice cream between 2-4 pm and there are families taking advantage of this. Travelling as a family this place is excellent and I would absolutely come back if I get the chance. "
