"The location it’s far away from downtown, and the transportation it’s limit and expensive.. if you travel with family it’s not convenient because of the transportation and lack of restaurants around … the staff and the owner it’s super nice .. but they don’t clean and I rooms are not clean enough… "

The staff spoke excellent English and went the extra mile to be friendly and helpful - a special mention to Van Anh who was really lovely! An easy walk from the railway station. "My recent 2-day,1-night trip abroad Grand Pioneer Cruise with my husband and 2 other couples in Ha Long Bay was spectacular. From the moment we checked in at the waiting lounge, stepped on board to final farewell, every detail was executed with details. The only fly in the ointment was when disembark waiting for car pickup in the lounge, we were asked to move to the other side because the area we sat was reserved for check in customers where there was no sign to indicate that. This left us feelinga bit anticlimactic. Same situation happened when we had a brunch buffet after kayaking before checking out. We were told there was no more beef noodle soup but chicken. In the end, staff brought me chicken soup without noodle. Totally different from the first day we were on board. "
